Soraya Coodey: there is no difference between a concrete basement floor and a concrete floor in a garage.They make some excellent combination sealer/paints for garages. Actually they are not really paints per se but! more like epoxys. you put them on with a roller.My advice is to use one of those.

Arlen Lopiccalo: If the floor has no paint after you remove the carpet, then you can buy UGL Waterproof paint. It comes in gray, white and beige. It's a seal & paint combined and works great.
