How do I equalize each channel (Speaker) individually? (Car audio)?

Blair Abdi: The only way to truly equalize your car audio system is to run 3 amps. A mono amp for the subs, an active 4 channel for the mids, and a smaller active 4 or 2 channel amp for the highs. That way you'd be able to set the crossover's with a specific bandwidth to the intended speakers.Sub amp LPF would be set around 80hzmids amp (with crossover on "full") LPF would be set at 80hz and HPF would be set around 4000hzhighs amp would be switched to HPF, and HPF would be set at 4000hz and up.There are a lot of active 4 channel amps out there, so searching won't be too hard. Look for the 10x multiplier on the amps and that will tell you if its active or not....Show more
