Angelyn Ducas: Most DVRs should have an option for you to begin and/or end the recording several minutes before or beyond the scheduled time. At least mine does, and I have a Motorola Moxie DVR with Charter.Look for "recording options" when you're setting the program to be recorded.Mine will let me start it up to 5 minutes early and end it up to 5 minutes later.
